NEWAGE INDUSTRIES INC is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Manager Near Southampton, PA

Description

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing the functions of building operations and maintenance of equipment for two manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will be a highly experienced subject matter expert in maintenance, facilities, workplace safety, and leadership. The candidate must be a self-starter, possessing the ability to manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously as well as be able to influence, and develop relationships at all organization levels. This individual will need to be adept at providing technical leadership and mentoring to a Maintenance team of 5-7 people.

Requirements

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction to operations and maintenance. The engineer is expected to be proficient in communicating to all levels of the organization. 
  • Support and improve the safe, reliable operation of the plant 
  • Drive maintenance best practices: Innovate, document, improve work methods, standardize, provide a safe work environment, and require safe work practices, train and commission equipment for both of NewAge’s manufacturing facilities
  • Set the strategy and direction for maintenance activities in both plants, including preventive and corrective maintenance to improve reliability, efficiency, effectiveness and continuous improvement of operations
  • This includes developing PM programs, troubleshooting, control system maintenance, managing providing outage planning support, planning for critical spare/obsolete parts.
  • Manage waste disposal, snow removal, landscaping and pest control operations, 
  • Provide oversight for budget development and execution, and capital planning.
  • vendors, and contracts.
  • Provide direct reports with leadership, direction and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance skills
  • Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems, manage outside contractors and be on call for emergencies.
  • Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas of the building, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces
  • Coach, train and develop Maintenance team including hiring, cross training, etc.

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • BS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and/or 10 years’ experience in a maintenance capacity
  • Minimum 10 years in maintenance or site operations
  • Experience leading change and maintenance teams in multiple site environments.
  • 5 years’ experience leading and coaching employees.
  • Strong communication, teambuilding, and influencing skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with high expectations.
  • Self-starter. Strong evidence of driving goals with minimal day-to-day supervision.
  • Support commissioning, qualification and validation of technical equipment(s) and/or extrusion line(s) 
  • Experience managing continuous improvement projects
  • Tech savvy beyond an average end user
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Must be willing to be hands-on when necessary
  • Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and other building systems
  • Advanced Experience in maintaining ISO Class 7 cleanroom environments. 
  • Will be expected to work with little to no supervision and is therefore self-directed
